Frank is a commercial lawyer with extensive international experience. After completing his law studies at the University of Leiden, Frank joined the Royal Netherlands Airforce as a conscripted officer. Having fulfilled his military duties, Frank remained employed by the Ministry of Defence to complete some large helicopter- and aircraft purchase programs and a program allowing civil use of the NATO pipeline system. Frank was subsequently assigned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and accredited to the Pentagon to implement military acquisition programs and industrial offset agreements in the United States. After his return in the Netherlands, Frank joined Fokker Aviation, the aviation division of the Dutch industrial conglomerate Stork, to become a commercial manager of the European NH90 helicopter. Frank has been employed by Oranje-Nassau Energie since 2001 and currently is General Counsel and Company Secretary.
