Structural geologist (MSc) by background, Reinoud started in 1990 as a field geologist working in onshore Asia (Yemen, Pakistan, Burma and Indonesia). He subsequently worked as an exploration consultant for Shell (London, Brunei and the Netherlands). In 1998 he joined Clyde Petroleum to explore the Dutch on- and offshore, combining his strong structural geological background with seismic interpretation. In 2008 he joined the Canadian operator Cirrus to start and extend their E&P in the Netherlands. Over the years he generated 14 drilled well proposals resulting in 6 commercial discoveries/develop-ments. A proven gas finder. Reinoud always kept focus on technical aspects. His expertise covers the entire workflow from seismic lead interpretation to static field modelling. He gained wide experience in seismic re-processing initializing and managing several projects. In addition, he is a TCM/OCM representative and responsible for exploration and production licence applications.
