Business Development Manager
Ron holds a Petroleum Engineering MSc from Delft University, specialising in Reservoir Engineering. He also holds an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management. In 1992 he joined Shell, where he worked in several technical roles in The Hague, Germany (BEB) and Velsen Netherlands (NAM). In 1997 Ron joined Oranje-Nassau Energie (ONE), initially as Senior Reservoir Engineer and later as Asset Manager. He has been involved in the evaluation and successful acquisition of investment opportunities. Since 2009 his responsibilities focus around Business Development and Commercial Affairs, while staying involved in Asset Management and Evaluations. Ron helped to grow the company inorganically through the acquisitions of Cirrus Energy, EWE Netherlands, Noble’s interest in the Hanze field and Shell/Esso’s Sean field in the UK. Ron also has a coordinating role on the ICT side.
