ONE has a 30% working Interest in Breagh, a gas field in the northern part of the Southern Gas Basin on the United Kingdom Continental Shelf 100 km off the east coast of England. Breagh was discovered in 1997, when the 42/13-2 well encountered a 121m gas column, and forms part of ONE’s diversified portfolio of operational assets in the British North Sea.
Breagh Gas Field – a non-operational asset in the United Kingdom
The Breagh gas field is produced through a normally unmanned platform in 61-meter water depth and has a dedicated pipeline to the Teesside Gas Processing Plant (TGPP). The field has been in production since late 2013.
With additional developments, such as more wells and a second platform, the field is expected to remain in production until 2040 with peak production of 7,000 boe/d net to ONE from 2020 to 2023. INEOS is the only other partner in and the operator of the asset, with a 70% Breagh working interest.
